Why stainless steel is the easiest to maintain
Unlike silver, which tarnishes, or gold plating, which fades, stainless steel naturally resists corrosion. It does not react to perspiration, water, or most everyday products. This is why I choose it for the majority of my creations at Créations Géna.

5 essential steps to care for your jewelry
Removes perspiration and residue in 10 seconds. The simplest and most effective step.
Soak for a few minutes, scrub with a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Bleach, direct perfumes, and sunscreens can dull the surface.
Contact between jewelry items can create fine scratches on polished finishes.
These materials can yellow with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Can you wear your jewelry in the shower?
Yes! Stainless steel is not afraid of water. Shower, pool, sea… your jewelry is resistant. However, heavily chlorinated water and seawater can slightly dull some finishes in the long term. For jewelry with polymer clay or resin, avoid prolonged soaking.
